Adam Sawicki was appointed CEO of GTS Central Europe in May 2008. Earlier, he was a founder and long-time president of the Polish TeliaSonera branch, and managed the company’s development in North America and Western Europe. At the same time, he acted as Managing Director of TeliaSonera’s London branch. After graduating from the Faculty of Economics and Management at the University of Stockholm, he worked for the Swedish telecom – Telia AB, later Telia International Carrier. He was a member of the management board at TeliaSonera Wholesale (TeliaSonera AB group). His career started in Ericsson.

Apart from his studies, he participated in special management training programs at the Harvard Business School, Stanford University (USA), IMD (Switzerland) and INSEAD (France). He is fluent in English and Swedish, and also speaks Russian and French.


In the period of 1997-2001 he collaborated, as a solicitor, with the Warsaw branch of Clifford Chance, an international law office. Since 2001 he has been working for Energis Polska sp. z o.o. as the Director of Legal Department and a board member at a later stage. During the period of 2006-2007 he was also the legal counsel and investment director at the Gravitas Management sp. z o.o. investment fund, and a board member at Stolarka Wolomin S.A. Moreover, he was a consultant for Mediatel S.A. in the process of acquiring telecommunication businesses. He started his career as a lawyer in the Kubiak Lukowicz Zielinski Solicitors law office in Warsaw. He is the graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration at Warsaw University. He became qualified solicitor in 1997.

Gerald Grace has been leading GTS CE Finance since June 2001. Previously he worked as a Financial Analyst with GTS Ebone in London, as Internal Auditor with Cable and Wireless International and as an Auditor with KPMG Dublin. He holds a Degree in Business Studies from the University of Limerick and a Masters in Finance and Accounting from University College Dublin. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ireland.

Davis Amland has headed up the regional carrier and international partnering division of GTS Central Europe since 2004. Between 1998-2004 he spent several years working in different product development and executive level finance positions at Ebone, the broadband IP and networking division of GTS Group. Prior to joining Ebone, Davis gained management experience at Pricewaterhouse Coopers Business Advisory Group in New York and San Francisco.

Stuart Evers was appointed CEO of GTS Novera in June 2008. He joined to GTS Central Europe in 2006 as a Chief Sales Officer and he was responsible for regional retail business in the region. Earlier, he had worked as Czech Telecom's Director of International Business for a period of four years, and worked as a top manager in various companies as follows: Eircom, Contactel (TDC) and Galileo. He graduated from the Trinity College in Dublin and Dublin Institute of Technology where he studied marketing and management.


Géza Szathmári has been CEO of GTS-Datanet Telecom Ltd. since 2001. Beforehand he worked for the Polish unit of GTS Central-European Holding Co. for three years as Chief Operating Officer. Earlier he spent several years with the Hungarian subsidiary of GTS Co. and its predecessor Montana Telecom Co. He is the President of ATSzE (Association of Alternative Telecommunications Service Providers in Hungary) since 2003. He obtained his electrical engineer degree at the Kálmán Kandó Technical College of Budapest, which he later completed with an MBA degree.

Dan Mihaescu

Jaromir Łaciński was appointed as President of the Management Board of GTS Energis in November 2006. He joined the company when it was established in 1999. Earlier, he was holding position of Regulation and Carrier Relations VP for several years. Being Vice President of the Board of Polish Chamber of Information Technology and Telecommunications, he plays an important role on the deregulation market as well. He graduated from Economics Faculty at Warsaw School of Economics where he also received his MBA diploma.


Dan Mihaescu has been leading GTS operation in Romania since February 2000. In 2002, he led the integration of GTS and KPNQwest operations in Romania. Dan has previously worked as Project Manager at Logic Telecom, and as a Telecom consultant in a number of USTDA projects. He is Vice President of ANISP, the Romanian association of alternative telecom operators. Dan graduated from the Electronics University in Bucharest, and he is an INSEAD Alumni.
Stanislav Molcan

Stanislav Molcan was appointed as Chairman of the Management Board in December 2006, after leading the company’s sales and marketing department for four years. He gained management experience in sales and marketing areas at ViaPVT and EuroTel Bratislava before he joined GTS in 2002. Earlier he worked at Global Network Services /predecessor of EuroWeb Slovakia/ as sales and marketing director from 1996 to 2000. He graduated from the Faculty of Electrotechnics and Informatics at Slovak Technical University in Bratislava in 1996.
