Adam Sawicki

Adam Sawicki
Group CEO, GTS Central Europe

Adam Sawicki was appointed CEO for GTS Central Europe in May 2008. He started his career in 1995 in Telia group (later TeliaSonera), where he was involved in a number of international projects in Ireland, Italy, Russia & Poland. Prior to joining GTS, he was Managing Director of the TeliaSonera UK subsidiary with commercial responsibility for International Carrier operations in Western Europe & North America and a member of the management board of TeliaSonera Wholesale. He holds an MSc from the School of Business, Stockholm University and attended number of executive programs at Harvard Business School, Stanford University, IMD and INSEAD.

Rafal Ciecwierz

Rafal Ciecwierz
Chief Legal Counsel, GTS Central Europe

In the period 1997-2001 he collaborated, as a solicitor, with the Warsaw branch of Clifford Chance, an international law office. Since 2001 he has been working for Energis Polska sp. z o.o. as the Director of the Legal Department and a board member at a later stage. During the period of 2006-2007 he was also the legal counsel and investment director at the Gravitas Management sp. z o.o. investment fund, and a board member at Stolarka Wolomin S.A. In addition to this, he was a consultant for Mediatel S.A. in the process of acquiring telecommunication businesses. He started his career as a lawyer in the Kubiak Lukowicz Zielinski Solicitors law office in Warsaw. He is a graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration at Warsaw University. He became a qualified solicitor in 1997.

Gerald Grace

Gerald Grace
CFO, GTS Central Europe

Gerald Grace has been leading GTS CE Finance since June 2001. Previously he worked as a Financial Analyst with GTS Ebone in London, as an Internal Auditor with Cable and Wireless International and as an Auditor with KPMG Dublin. He holds a Degree in Business Studies from the University of Limerick and a Masters in Finance and Accounting from University College Dublin. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ireland.

Ignacio Irurita

Ignacio Irurita
CTO, GTS Central Europe

Jose Ignacio Irurita Martin was appointed Chief Technology Officer at GTS CE in September 2008. He has a longstanding career in the telecommunication industry. He worked as Technical Director at Antena 3 Television. He worked as Technical Director at Colt Telecom . Then he was appointed Chief Operations Officer for Colt Telecom in Southern Europe, and later, Senior Director at Colt Telecom Group in London. Prior to joining GTS CE, he worked for Ono Cableuropa in Madrid where he was the Head of the Enterprise Business. Ignacio Irurita graduated in Telecommunications Engineering at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid and gained the MBA Degree at IESE, Universidad de Navarra and SEP at London Business School.

Artur Ostrowski

Artur Ostrowski
Senior Vice President Head of Regional Retail & Wholesale, GTS Central Europe

Artur Ostrowski was appointed Senior Vice President & Head of Regional Retail & Wholesale in January 2009. He joined the GTS Group from TeliaSonera International Carrier, where he had been working since 2000 on a number of sales positions in various European countries. In 2007 he moved back to Poland to take over responsibility for international carrier operations of TeliaSonera in the region of CEE and Asia. He holds a master’s degree in Management from Warsaw University, and later obtained an MBA from Warsaw University of Technology.

Petr Stajner

Petr Stajner
Vice-President and Head of Wholesale Voice Services, GTS Central Europe

Petr Stajner was appointed Vice-President and Head of Wholesale Voice Services in April 2009. During his over-18-year career in the telecommunication industry he has worked in several positions in the Czech mobile operator Eurotel and the Czech incumbent Cesky Telecom (both Telefónica O2 now). Within the GTS CE Group, Petr has worked for GTS Novera, a Czech filial company of the Group, since 2002. He graduated in Electrotechnical Engineering at the Czech Institute of Technology in Prague and at the University of Technology in Delft, the Netherlands. Petr Stajner is responsible for developing and managing the national and international wholesale voice business of the entire GTS CE Group.

Piotr Ślęczka

Piotr Ślęczka
Group Human Resources Director, GTS Central Europe

Piotr Ślęczka was appointed Group Human Resources Director for GTS Central Europe in July 2009. He has held the position of HR Director in GTS Energis in Poland since February 2009. Earlier, between 2001 - 2006 he was responsible for all HR activities in Energis Polska. As a member of the management team, he was co-responsible for the Energis and GTS merger process. Recently, Piotr has served as a Board Member/HR Director of a company owned by Gravitas Private Equity Fund. He graduted from the Academy of Economics in Kraków and holds a post graduate studies diploma from Warsaw School of Social Studies and Humanities.

Stuart Evers

Stuart Evers
CEO, GTS-Novera (Czech Republic)

Stuart Evers was appointed CEO of GTS Novera in June 2008. He joined GTS Central Europe in 2006 as Chief Sales Officer at which time he was responsible for regional retail business in the region. Prior to this, he had worked as a Czech Telecom's Director of International Business for a period of four years, and worked as a top manager in various companies as follows: Eircom, Contactel (TDC) and Galileo. He graduated from Trinity College in Dublin and Dublin Institute of Technology where he studied marketing and management.

Pál Pauer

Pál Pauer
CEO, GTS-Datanet (Hungary)

Pál Pauer has been CEO of GTS Datanet since November 2008. He started his career at the GTS Group in 1995. After serving as a sales manager in Hungary for four years, he was appointed Sales Director of GTS Poland in 1999. In 2001 he arrived back in Hungary and held the position of Sales and Marketing Director at GTS Datanet until his appointment in 2008. He graduated from the Foreign Trade Department at the Warsaw School of Economics.

Piotr Sieluk

Piotr Sieluk
CEO, GTS-Energis (Poland)

Piotr Sieluk was appointed CEO of GTS Energis in January 2009. Previously, between 2003 and 2005, he held the position of Business Development Director at Energis Polska responsible, among others things, for the successful sale of this company to the GTS Group. He started his career at Deloitte & Touche, followed by a number of management positions in Pioneer Mutual Fund, PricewaterhouseCoopers and Gravitas Private Equity Fund where he was co-founder and Investment Director. He graduated from the Law Faculty at the University of Warsaw, and holds an MBA from the University of Minnesota.

Dan Mihaescu

Dan Mihaescu
CEO, GTS-Telecom (Romania)

Dan Mihaescu has been leading GTS operations in Romania since February 2000. In 2002, he led the integration of GTS and KPNQwest operations in Romania. Dan previously worked as Project Manager at Logic Telecom, and as a Telecom consultant in a number of USTDA projects. He is Vice President of ANISP, the Romanian association of alternative telecom operators. Dan graduated from the Electronics University in Bucharest, and he is an INSEAD Alumni.

Stanislav Molcan

Stanislav Molcan
Chairman of the Board, GTS Slovakia

Stanislav Molcan was appointed as Chairman of the Management Board in December 2006, after leading the company's sales and marketing department for four years. He gained management experience in sales and marketing areas at ViaPVT and EuroTel Bratislava before joining GTS in 2002. Prior to this, he worked at Global Network Services /predecessor of EuroWeb Slovakia/ as sales and marketing director from 1996 to 2000. He graduated from the Faculty of Electrotechnics and Informatics at the Slovak Technical University in Bratislava in 1996.
