• GTS to be acquired by Consortium of private equity funds led by Columbia Capital, M/C Venture Partners and Innova Capital

  GML's subsidiary, the shareholder of GTS Central Europe ("GTS CE"), has entered into an agreement to sell 100% of the shares in GTS CE to a consortium of private equity funds, led by Columbia Capital, M/C Venture Partners and Innova Capital (the "Consortium"). The transaction is expected to close in the first quarter of 2008.

• GTS CE again wins Capacity magazine's 2007 Carrier of the Year award for Central and Eastern Europe

  In a widely attended industry event in Amsterdam, Euromoney's Capacity magazine announced GTS CE as the winner of its annual "Best CEE Wholesale Provider" award. The judging panel included feedback from industry analysts and senior representatives from Yankee Group, Atlantic-ACM and Capacity magazine's Editor-in-Chief and Editor.

• ADSL boom at GTS-Datanet

  GTS-Datanet, Hungarian subsidiary of GTS Central Europe has increased significantly its ADSL customer base during the year and serves 42,000 business and residential ADSL subscribers at the moment. The intensive growth is mainly due to subscriptions coming from ex-monopoly T-Com primer service area.

• Development of GTS Energis' Data Centre in Piaseczno

  A power supply development project got underway in early October 2007 in one of Europe's biggest and most modern Data Centres located in Piaseczno and owned by GTS Energis. Establishment of another energy terminal of the capacity of 2*2.2 MW will enable adaptation of 700m2 of storage space for co-location purposes. The cost of carrying out the project is assessed at PLN 1.5 million. Completion of the investment has been planned for April 2008.

• GTS Novera won the Ministry of Defense‘s tenders for a provision of international connectivity within NATO

  Prague, September 18, 2007
  GTS Novera, Czech subsidiary of GTS Central Europe and Czech Ministry of Defense undersigned the contracts for a lease and operations of international telecommunication lines for the sites located in Germany and Poland. These lines are to ensure the data transmissions within NATO. GTS Novera won the pertinent public tenders as it bid the lowest price. The company is going to ensure the services from this November till the end of 2012.

• GTS CE launches a unique regional MPLS network for retail customers

  The leading Central European fixed-line telecommunications group GTS Central European Holding B.V. (GTS CE) officially launches its unique regional MPLS network for retail customers. The MPLS network is a single robust and high-quality entity that covers five GTS CE countries (Hungary, Poland, Romania, Slovakia and the Czech Rep.) with a single Network Operation Center located in Prague. • GTS Central Europe: stable revenue, 20% EBITDA growth

  GTS Central Europe, one of the leading telecommunications service providers of the region, today reported its financial results for the first half of 2007. Achieving a solid underlying performance, the company's revenues after elimination of inter-company transactions reached EUR 192 m that practically equalled with the same period last year. EBITDA grew by 20% to EUR 34,5 m compared to the same period in 2006.

• A complex solution of the security of a corporate Internet connectivity

  GTS Novera, a nationwide telecommunication operator, has just launched a new service, namely the Novera managed office, which is addressed to SMEs as a complex solution of their Internet connectivity security. Users are provided with functions of an external mailserver and secure protection against viruses, hacker attacks, spams and other risks.

• The new Novera duo expres service: an integrated telecommunication solution for the small companies and home offices for CZK 645 a month

  GTS Novera, a nationwide telecommunication operator, is going to launch a new service called Novera duo expres. This service, which combines standard phone services with a broadband Internet connection, is addressed to the small companies, trades and home offices. The Novera duo expres service offers usage-based fees amounting from CZK 0.80 per a minute and ADSL connection with the transmission rate up to 8 Mbit/s. The service provisioning is quite easy thanks to on-line ordering and use of a self-installation package. Within the action offer one might acquire for a monthly flat-fee amounting to CZK 645 a variant consisting of the Internet connectivity with the transmission rate 3 Mbit/s and phone services.

• CEOs urge Commissioner Reding to keep promoting competition in the EU's telecom markets

  Viviane Reding, the EU's Telecom Commissioner met with CEOs of a number of Europe's leading competitive telecom operators, who push for a rethink of emerging Commission proposals to remove sector-specific competition rules from key areas of the market. The operators, all members of the European Competitive Telecommunications Association (ECTA), believe that additional time is required to allow the remaining barriers to competition in Europe's fragmented telecom market to be broken down. Tamás Polgár GTS CE CEO was a member of the ECTA delegation.

• GTS Energis Granted Access to Local Loop

  On April 17 2007, GTS Energis became the first alternative operator to conclude a LLU (local loop unbundling) access agreement with Telekomunikacja Polska S.A.

• GTS Central Europe for Palace Cinemas:Intercompany network covering entire Central Europe

  Prague, April 2, 2007
  GTS Central Europe (GTS CE), a Central European telecommunication operator the company GTS Novera is a part of, launched a new MPLS network for Palace Cinemas this February. • GTS Nextra achieved an income of three quarters of a billion crowns last year

  The largest alternative telecommunications operator GTS Nextra achieved a total level of income of SKK 768,217 mil. last year. In interim comparison this represents a growth of almost 18 percent from the income of SKK 652,291 mil. recorded in 2005. The company is also achieving superb results in terms of profit before tax, interest, depreciations and amortisation (EBITDA), which grew in the interim by 43% to SKK 161,080 mil.

• GTS Novera is going to operate a metropolitan network in Valasske Mezirici

  Prague, February 28, 2007
  GTS Novera, a nationwide operator, and the company Josef Barton - Rex entered last Friday into a contract with the City of Valasske Mezirici upon which they will operate the metropolitan data network. A consortium of these companies won the public tender organized by the city administration. The metropolitan network is to interconnect sites of the local government and institutions and serve the business subject as well. The citizens will be offered an access to a broadband Internet. Twenty publicly accessible Internet information stalls will be a part of the network. GTS Novera pursues its successful cooperation with local governments. It has already put into operations, or develops, similar metropolitan networks in some other cities, namely Plzen, Bilina or Vsetin and Uhersky Brod.

• 2007: the year of Internet sales at GTS Datanet

  Datanet ADSL available on incumbent Hungarotel service areas as well; LLU based ADSL packages to upgrade GTS Datanet, Hungarian subsidiary of GTS CE announced to expand its ADSL coverage to service areas of incumbent Hungarotel as well. Due to the expansion, Datanet ADSL will be available via 81 percent of Hungarian fixed voice channels from February 2007.

• GTS CE wholesale revenue surged again

  GTS CE wholesale data revenue surged again in 2006 with year on year increases approaching 40% across its top 20 global customers. Davis Amland, head of GTS CE's international partnering and wholesale division, attributes this continued strong performance on increasingly integrated service offerings across the Central and Eastern European landscape in which it competes. Significant tender wins in Q2 and Q3 across the region at times covering as many as 20 countries, helped propel a double digit revenue growth in the 4th quarter alone.

• GTS Novera is going to build up a metropolitan network in Uhersky Brod

  Prague, February 19, 2007
  At the end of January there was concluded the contract between and by GTS Novera, a nationwide telecommunication operator, and City of Uhersky Brod upon which GTS Novera is to build up a metropolitan communication network. The network will interconnect local administration buildings as well as institutions under the city administration. Furthermore, the network will provide the citizens of Uhersky Brod with a broadband Internet access. There will be placed 35 common computers and one Internet information stall to common buildings. GTS Novera has already put into operations similar metropolitan networks in Plzen or Bilina and quite recently in Vsetin.

• GTS Novera has completed an integration of the telecommunication networks - the extended network handled over 200 million calls in January

  One year after there were effectuated acquisitions of competitive operators Contactel, Nextra and Telenor Networks GTS Novera completed an integration of the telecommunication networks acquired. GTS Novera's new extended network, which is one of the largest networks in the Czech Republic, offers to the users of telecommunication services a wide range of options with respect to the end-user connection, high transmission rate and guaranteed level of services. This January the network handled over 200 million of calls, i.e. by 71% more than it did in January 2006.

• GTS Central Europe is going to interconnect 61 JYSK's sales outlets in Central Europe

  There was concluded a contract for the provision of a modern MPLS data network between and by GTS Central Europe (GTS CE), a Central European telecommunication operator, and JYSK, a Danish furniture vendor. The network will interconnect 61 JYSK's sales outlets all over Central Europe, namely in the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary.

• GTS Nextra Connects OTP Banka

  Bratislava, January 30, 2007
  GTS Nextra, the largest alternative telecommunication operator in Slovakia, has been already for several months successfully providing its services to OTP Banka. All bank's 74 branches, agencies and offices throughout Slovakia have been completely connected to a Virtual Private Network (VPN), including Automated Teller Machines (ATM), making use of the advantages offered by the MPLS technology. Part of the project were also full backup facilities.

• MULTIMO - new DSL service by GTS Energis

  Warsaw, January 29, 2007
  GTS Energis, Polish subsidiary of GTS CE announced to launc a new service called MULTIMO on the Polish market. MULTIMO is a fixed Internet access service for individual customers having a TP SA land line. Thanks to MULTIMO it is possible to use high quality Internet connection, reliable and unlimited access to the net as well as quickly send and receive messages without any data transfer limit.

• GTS Novera launched a metropolitan network in Vsetín

  Prague, January 24, 2007
  GTS Novera, Czech subsidiary of GTS CE announced to commence live operations of Vsetín's metropolitan data network. The network was developed last year upon winning the pertinent public tender invited by the city authorities. The metropolitan network interconnected various authorities, institutions receiving contributions from the State budget and schools within the city. Simultaneously, the citizens of Vsetín were provided with a wireless access to the broadband Internet. Eleven Internet information booths located in various public buildings and schools are a part of the new network as well.

• Change of Chairman at GTS Nextra

  Bratislava, January 23, 2007
  Shareholders of the largest alternative telecommunication service provider in Slovakia, GTS Nextra has approved a major change in the company's corporate governance structure. In order to cease duplications between management functions, position of Managing Director was abolished, and Mr. Stanislav Molcan has been appointed the new Chairman of the Management Board, effective 15 December, 2006. He has also been assigned to manage the company, succeeding previous Chairman of the Management Board, Mr. Branislav Brezovic.

• GTS Datanet moves up 78 places in Hungarian Top 500 Rankings

  GTS Datanet, Hungarian subsidiary of GTS Central Europe reported 11,190m HUF revenue in 2005 and was ranked at 416th among the biggest 500 Hungarian companies in a list compiled by HVG, the leading Hungarian business weekly. Due to its 19% revenue growth, GTS Datanet moved up 78 places in the Top 500 rankings as compared to the previous year, which is a unique development in the Hungarian telecom market.
