Development of GTS Energis' Data Centre in Piaseczno

A power supply development project got underway in early October 2007 in one of Europe's biggest and most modern Data Centres located in Piaseczno and owned by GTS Energis. Establishment of another energy terminal of the capacity of 2*2.2 MW will enable adaptation of 700m2 of storage space for co-location purposes. The cost of carrying out the project is assessed at PLN 1.5 million. Completion of the investment has been planned for April 2008. -
GTS Novera won the Ministry of Defense‘s tenders for a provision of international connectivity within NATO

CEOs urge Commissioner Reding to keep promoting competition in the EU's telecom markets

GTS Novera is going to operate a metropolitan network in Valasske Mezirici

GTS Novera, a nationwide operator, and the company Josef Barton - Rex entered last Friday into a contract with the City of Valasske Mezirici upon which they will operate the metropolitan data network. A consortium of these companies won the public tender organized by the city administration. The metropolitan network is to interconnect sites of the local government and institutions and serve the business subject as well. The citizens will be offered an access to a broadband Internet. Twenty publicly accessible Internet information stalls will be a part of the network. GTS Novera pursues its successful cooperation with local governments. It has already put into operations, or develops, similar metropolitan networks in some other cities, namely Plzen, Bilina or Vsetin and Uhersky Brod. -

At the end of January there was concluded the contract between and by GTS Novera, a nationwide telecommunication operator, and City of Uhersky Brod upon which GTS Novera is to build up a metropolitan communication network. The network will interconnect local administration buildings as well as institutions under the city administration. Furthermore, the network will provide the citizens of Uhersky Brod with a broadband Internet access. There will be placed 35 common computers and one Internet information stall to common buildings. One year after there were effectuated acquisitions of competitive operators Contactel, Nextra and Telenor Networks GTS Novera completed an integration of the telecommunication networks acquired. GTS Novera's new extended network, which is one of the largest networks in the Czech Republic, offers to the users of telecommunication services a wide range of options with respect to the end-user connection, high transmission rate and guaranteed level of services. This January the network handled over 200 million of calls, i.e. by 71% more than it did in January 2006. -

GTS Novera, Czech subsidiary of GTS CE announced to commence live operations of Vsetín's metropolitan data network. The network was developed last year upon winning the pertinent public tender invited by the city authorities. The metropolitan network interconnected various authorities, institutions receiving contributions from the State budget and schools within the city. Simultaneously, the citizens of Vsetín were provided with a wireless access to the broadband Internet. Eleven Internet information booths located in various public buildings and schools are a part of the new network as well. -
