  • GTS CE unifies Ethernet network across five countries of Central Europe

    Recognizing the need for Ethernet services, GTS Central Europe (GTS CE), a leading telecommunications operator in the region, responded with the unification of its Ethernet infrastructure. This was achieved by creating a brand new Ethernet network based on the company’s existing fiber footprint stretching across five European countries: the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Romania and Slovakia. Development of this integrated Ethernet platform results in an enhanced new Ethernet product portfolio, allowing our customers to benefit from new capabilities, more flexibility and increased bandwidth.

    GTS Central Europe, a leading telecommunications operator in the CEE region, has been recognized in the prestigious Wholesale Telecommunications Awards for ‘Best Central & Eastern European Wholesale Offering’. Capacity Magazine’s annual awards were presented on the first evening of Capacity Europe on 23rd of November 2009, attended by more than 400 senior industry executives. The awards, created to recognize the best market players, are based on five criteria: network quality and performance, network reach, speed to market, pricing strategy, and overall investments in the network.

  • GTS Central Europe introduces the International Network Operation Centre (INOC)

    GTS Central Europe (GTS CE), a leading telecommunications operator in the CEE region, introduces the International Network Operations Centre (INOC), which from now on will play a key role in the international operations of GTS CE. This state-of-the-art facility, based in Piaseczno, Warsaw, covers an area of 420 square meters and is one of the largest of its kind in Central and Eastern Europe. The primary benefit of INOC is the ability to maintain and proactively monitor the entire GTS Central European network and to provide services for all our wholesale customers from one centralized location.

  • Petr Stajner appointed VP & Head of Wholesale Voice Services at GTS CE

    Mr. Petr Stajner, former director of the wholesale and external relations division in GTS Novera, has been appointed Vice-President and Head of Wholesale Voice Services for GTS Central European Holding B.V. (GTS CE), a leading Central European telecommunications operator. In this newly created position, Petr Stajner will be responsible for developing and managing the national and international wholesale voice business of the entire GTS CE Group. He will be based in Prague, Czech Republic.

  • Piotr Sleczka is appointed Group Human Resources Director

    "The last 6 months of OneGTS project required a lot of work from all of us and showed us clearly how important, if not critical, the human aspect is in most of our business activities. Based on this, we’ve taken the decision to strengthen the Human Resources field by making the HR function a permanent part of the Group Management Team. I believe that the new structure will further help to embed the oneGTS changes we have undertaken and shall strengthen our organizational capability" - said Adam Sawicki, Chief Executive Officer of GTS CE.

    Davis Amland, Head of Group Strategy & Business Development is leaving GTS Central Europe. After spending 11 years at the company, Mr. Amland has decided to pursue his career outside of GTS Group.
