The combination of Interware and existing GTS Hungary data center facilities will position GTS Hungary as leader in the Hungarian data center market. -

These changes are the latest step in the creation of an integrated telecommunications operator and data center service provider for the entire Central and Eastern European region. The main reason for rebranding is to make it easier for customers to recognize the company, strengthen unified offerings across the countries and to save on costs by sharing marketing resources. -

(Slovakia). Dial Telecom’s customer base and metropolitan optical network in Bratislava will greatly enhance GTS Slovakia’s ability to service customers throughout the Slovakia. Dial Telecom (Slovakia) is a provider of complete portfolio of voice, data and internet services. The acquisition will strengthen the GTS footprint not only in Slovakia, but in the whole CEE region. GTS will integrate the Dial Telecom customers and product offerings into its existing Slovak operations, creating a combined business with total annual revenues reaching nearly € 50 million. -

GTS Central Europe Acquires Hungarian Data Center Provider, Interware

GTS Central Europe (GTS) today announced that it has agreed to acquire Interware Zrt., a leading provider of data center services in the Hungarian market. The deal is subject to local Competition Office approval and expected to close by the end of the third quarter of 2010. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. -

GTS will add Datek into its existing Romanian operations, creating a combined business with total annual revenues exceeding €25 million.
