ADSL boom at GTS-Datanet

GTS-Datanet, Hungarian subsidiary of GTS Central Europe has increased significantly its ADSL customer base during the year and serves 42,000 business and residential ADSL subscribers at the moment. The intensive growth is mainly due to subscriptions coming from ex-monopoly T-Com primer service area.

"In the second quarter of 2007, number of ADSL subscriptions increased by 18,500 in T-Com area, 17% of them contracted by our company" said Géza Szathmári, CEO of GTS-Datanet. "ADSL market is buzzing year to year before Christmas. According to expectations our ADSL customer base will approach 50,000 at the end of this year" he added.
