Change of Chairman at GTS Nextra

Bratislava, January 23, 2007
Shareholders of the largest alternative telecommunication service provider in Slovakia, GTS Nextra has approved a major change in the company's corporate governance structure. In order to cease duplications between management functions, position of Managing Director was abolished, and Mr. Stanislav Molcan has been appointed the new Chairman of the Management Board, effective 15 December, 2006. He has also been assigned to manage the company, succeeding previous Chairman of the Management Board, Mr. Branislav Brezovic.

Stanislav Molcan (33) graduated in 1996 from the Faculty of Electrotechnics and Informatics of the Slovak Technical University in Bratislava, telecommunications department. He launched his career at Global Network Services /later EuroWeb Slovakia/, where he worked as sales and marketing director from 1996 to 2000. He gained another management experience and skills within sales and marketing areas at ViaPVT and EuroTel Bratislava before he became sales and marketing director at GTS Slovakia in 2002. As head of the sales department of GTS Slovakia, he has greatly contributed to the current position of GTS Nextra on the Slovak telecommunications market.
