GTS CE wholesale revenue surged again

GTS CE wholesale data revenue surged again in 2006 with year on year increases approaching 40% across its top 20 global customers. Davis Amland, head of GTS CE's international partnering and wholesale division, attributes this continued strong performance on increasingly integrated service offerings across the Central and Eastern European landscape in which it competes. Significant tender wins in Q2 and Q3 across the region at times covering as many as 20 countries, helped propel a double digit revenue growth in the 4th quarter alone.
GTS CE is seen increasingly as the market leader in integrated data services in the region and an essential partner for the largest global carriers and systems integrators. Headquartered out of Budapest, Hungary, GTS CE continues to go from strength to strength, increasing its market share while broadening its service portfolio. Recent agreements signed with global carriers in need of integrated Central and Eastern European network solutions have come at the expense of GTS CE's direct competitors.
Davis Amland suggests that the rationale for the major telcos of the world seeking out GTS CE as their Central and Eastern European partner is not difficult to understand. The rollout of region wide ULL network solutions, continued expansion of local wireless solutions, together with a 21st century state of the art upgrade of its 10 country regional MPLS network enable GTS CE, unlike any of its competitors, to implement end to end centrally managed solutions. For the sophisticated operator this means greater flexibility of solution set, faster implementation times, fewer faults and faster repair times. These are services the competition find difficult to match and in many cases can only envy.
