According to the plans, GTS Central Europe will establish a subsidiary in Slovenia this year, and later in Serbia.

In the past year, GTS Central Europe focused on strengthening its Central Eastern European position and acquired a number of telecommunication providers: Energis Polska in Poland, Contactel in the Czech Republic, Quadia in Slovakia, furthermore Telenor Networks and Nextra, having both Czech and Slovakian interests. Through these acquisitions, the company significantly increased its customer base and the extent of its optical network.
