GTS Central Europe introduces the International Network Operation Centre (INOC)
Warsaw, October 14, 2009
GTS Central Europe (GTS CE), a leading telecommunications operator in the CEE region, introduces the International Network Operations Centre (INOC), which from now on will play a key role in the international operations of GTS CE. This state-of-the-art facility, based in Piaseczno, Warsaw, covers an area of 420 square meters and is one of the largest of its kind in Central and Eastern Europe. The primary benefit of INOC is the ability to maintain and proactively monitor the entire GTS Central European network and to provide services for all our wholesale customers from one centralized location.
The main objective of GTS INOC is to provide overall continuity for all GTS CE services by analyzing and troubleshooting all network interruptions and monitoring all lines and network devices across five countries. In the event of any query, our customers can take advantage of our Single Point of Contact, dial just one number and their inquiries will be registered in the GTS CE CRM system. INOC, which is fully equipped with sophisticated network monitoring and analysis tools and manned by skilled engineers, will immediately diagnose the issue and take care of any troubleshooting. This cutting edge facility, operating 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, is highly secure and equipped with multiple backup power supplies.
The introduction of a single Network Operations Centre to all our international customers is a part of the GTS CE strategy. Its aim is to unify all regional operations by implementing global management processes designed to manage our international services. Our monitoring systems, previously located in five different countries: the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Romania and Slovakia, have now been integrated in one facility, allowing us to significantly decrease the time required to identify and solve any connectivity issues.
“With INOC as the hub of the entire GTS Central European network, we are able to serve all our customers, from anywhere in the world,” commented Artur Ostrowski, Head of International Services at GTS CE. He added: “Thanks to this state-of-the-art technological facility, we can guarantee our customers quicker service, exceptional network availability and better cost-efficiencies.”
