GTS Central Europe is going to interconnect 61 JYSK's sales outlets in Central Europe

Prague, February 7, 2007
There was concluded a contract for the provision of a modern MPLS data network between and by GTS Central Europe (GTS CE), a Central European telecommunication operator, and JYSK, a Danish furniture vendor. The network will interconnect 61 JYSK's sales outlets all over Central Europe, namely in the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary.

A new data network based on IP VPN is to ensure an overall improvement of JYSK's sales process within Central Europe. All customers from this region will benefit from the network. The use of the modern MPLS technology will ensure a competitive advantage to JYSK and enable the company to guarantee state-of-the-art services not only nowadays but also in many years to come.

A Danish word JYSK means a man coming from Jutland, the largest Danish territory. "In Danish, JYSK literally means Jutlandic but it also refers to certain core values such as honesty, integrity and modesty. In other words JYSK means credibility - a company to be trusted! This is how we operate, it is how we treat our customers, and we expect the same from all of our suppliers. So we did not select our network provider lightly - it was an important decision but one we are very happy with," said Mr. Rene Kristiansen, CIO of JYSK.

"JYSK have a clear mission, to be the leaders in the European Market in all articles for the bedroom, bathroom, window, living room and terrace and they made this quite clear to us from the start. It's an ambitious goal for an expanding company and to create a network to meet these demands was a challenge. But it was challenge we relished and by working closely with JYSK we believe we are playing a vital role in realizing their mission and that is something we are very proud of," commented Mr. Stuart Evers, Chief Sales Office, GTS CE.
