GTS Datanet launched LLU based services
Budapest, September 18, 2006
GTS Datanet, Hungarian subsidiary of GTS Central Europe, announced to launch local loop unbundling based ADSL and phone services for residential and business customers in Budapest. The new LLU based service allows costumers to get rid of fixed line subscription fees while keep using their telephone with their old phone number.
The new service named "YO! Neked" is available in four different bandwidth packages. The most economic one, "YO! Friss" offers 1280 kbps download speed for HUF 6 498 monthly fee while subscribers can keep using their fixed line phone - only for minute fees.
At the moment, GTS Datanet's new LLU based ADSL and phone service covers 80 percent of Budapest's territory. As a result of an aggressive network development, the company expects that its LLU based services become available in major Hungarian towns during 2007.
"We are convinced that local loop unbundling based ADSL offers will reform the whole Hungarian internet market and conduce to increase internet penetration rates" - said Géza Szatmári, CEO of GTS Datanet. "Our company wishes to reach 30,000 broadband customers within a year" - he added.
