GTS Energis cooperates with VECTRA

GTS Energis, an alternative telecommunication operator rendering services to corporate customers, has signed an agreement with VECTRA - the second largest cable operator in Poland with respect to the number of subscribers.
Under the contract, GTS Energis will deliver to VECTRA the INfo service. On its basis - with use of all advantages of the intelligent network of GTS Energis - the Customer Service Center will be delivered for VECTRA subscribers all over the country. Opening of the Center is to increase the quality of customer service and to improve all processes related to data management.
The contract entered into by GTS Energis with VECTRA also covers the lease of domestic data transmission links which make the DWDM (Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing) network. Through this technology, it will be possible to increase significantly the throughput capacity and to improve data transfer between particular locations.
Data transmission speed will be 2 Gbit/s. Making the links available initiates the development of a wide backbone network to be used by VECTRA for rendering the triple play services - combined television and Internet access and telephone line services.
