GTS Energis signed an agreement with Polska Telefonia Cyfrowa for wholesale purchase of mobile access to network

On the basis of the agreement signed with Polska Telefonia Cyfrowa (PTC), the largest Polish mobile service provider, GTS Energis, as the first alternative telecommunication operator in Poland, offers to its customers the service of mobile access to the virtual private networks (VPN) with the use of GPRS, EDGE, UMTS and HSDPA technologies.
The new service called Mobile Solution - based on the "blueconnect", wireless Internet access solution offered by PTC - is the supplement to the current offer of mobile access to corporation networks and together with the existing products of this class comprises for the consistent Business Online solution.

Mobile Solution is directed to enterprises, the employees of which need a fast and elastic access to the data communication resources, that it companies which employ sales representatives, mobile workers and consultants. The main value of the solution is the full integration with the other services of remote access to the Business Online network line offered by GTS Energis. Additionally, Mobile Solution makes the safe usage from the cordless access to the Internet via VPN possible.
Mobile Solution service, due to the "blueconnect" solution, enables the data transfer with the speed to 1,8 Mbps. Customers get the access to corporation resources without limitations from any place, where the range of PTC network is available. In order to realize the services, PTC configures the dedicated APN (Access Point Name). It enables the safe data transmission as well as customers' separation in the layer of cordless access to VPN. This way, the separated sub network is provided, via which the users equipped in GPRS/EDGE/UMTS/HSDPA modems as well as authorization tools (e.g. token) get to the appropriate VPN networks - built and managed by GTS Energis in terms of IP Solution.
Mobile Solution service is provided on the basis of many types of terminals. Bearing in mind customers' demands, GTS Energis renders the multi-system devices accessible, which serve simultaneously GPRS/EDGE/UMTS/HSDPA technologies. In order to assure the terminal compatibility with the working stations, customers have ability to choose between the cards of different producers.
IP Solution is one the most important products of GTS Energis. Built and fully managed by the operator, IP VPN services, won the customers' recognition - of the highest corporations and multi-branch companies which operate on the Polish market. Business Online is a group of remote access services built within IP Solution. So far, the customers were able to choose between the two types of connections - via fixed access (IP Solution RAS) or the dial-up access (Dialup Solution). Mobile Solution completes the Business Online line with the mobile access.
GTS Energis has at its disposal a modern optical fiber network with the total length of 5.200 km and bandwidth of 40 G bit/s, which was designed and made in the ring architecture. This means the highest security guarantee and constancy of providing the telecommunication services for the customers. Due to the connection of GTS network and Energis the geographical range of activity has much increased and the limitations of service accessibility have been eliminated.
