GTS Novera wins The Golden Semicolon award for its webpages

The webpages www.gtsnovera.cz of GTS Novera, a nation-wide telecommunications operator, won first place in the Best Corporate On-Line Presentation category of the 6th Golden Semicolon contest of corporate presentations and publications.
A jury featuring both experts in marketing and Internet solutions and celebrities evaluated web presentations in terms of their updatedness, information value, usefulness for journalists and graphic layout, as well as overall navigability and accessibility.
In GTS Novera's case the jury's verdict was based on two Internet presentations, since this March the company launched a new form of its Internet site, which featured many significant changes and mirrored company focus on corporate segment. The previous version was, however, retained for the jury's evaluation so that the evaluators could work with both presentations simultaneously.
"We very much appreciate the received prize. The main objective of the new webpages is their high information value as well as the accurate targeting of the various customer segments in the updated version," says Mr. Petr Vyhnálek, manager of GTS Novera's marketing communications. "In creating the new webpages we worked together with our employees. Instead of using standard databank photographs that seem somewhat sterile, we opted for the accompanying photographs to be of specific employees of our company. The webpages thus have taken on a more personal and friendly appearance," he said, drawing attention to the non-traditional concept of the photographs used.
The creator of the webpages for GTS Novera was FG Forrest, which worked with GTS Novera's input on the most recent version. The innovative webpages now provide a more user-friendly arrangement of company and product information. This information is augmented by numerous current case studies, enabling potential customers to obtain a clear idea of the use of offered telecommunication services and solutions.
The Golden Semicolon contest evaluates and awards company periodical and non-periodical publications designed to present a company or its products and services to customers, business partners or employees. The contest as announced by PR Klub, o.s. Any company operating in the Czech Republic which releases a company publication, e-bulletin or own on-line presentation can enter the contest, as well as any agency or third party creating such a publication, on-line presentation or e-bulletin for a company operating in the Czech Republic. The ceremonial announcement of the 6th annual Golden Semicolon contest was held on Thursday, April 10th at Archa Theatre.
