GTS Polska to acquire Energis Polska

GTS Central Europe (GTS CE) announces today that GTS Polska has entered into an agreement to acquire 97.5% of Energis Polska. The transaction requires the approval of the Polish Anti-Monopoly Authorities.
The merger of GTS Polska with Energis Polska will dramatically strengthen GTS CE’s position both in the Polish and the Central Europe markets. Poland is one of the largest and fastest growing telecommunications markets in Central Europe. The expected combined 2005 revenues will be Euro95m. Including Energis Polska, GTS CE’s expected 2005 revenues will be approximately Euro300m.
