Petr Mozis takes over as sales director of GTS Novera

New director of the sales division of the nationwide telecommunications operator GTS Novera is Petr Mozis, a former
director of the business section for the corporate segment.
Director of the corporate segment for many years, Petr Mozis has become director of the sales division of the entire company. This post was restored to the organisational structure of GTS Novera by Stuart Evers, who in July took over the post of Chief Executive Officer from Milan Rusnák. Until now, management of the sales division had fallen within the competence of the company managing director.
"We are a sales orientated company, and so the position of director of our sales division is an essential part of the company management. As such, we are delighted to appoint someone with Petr’s skills and background to this position. Like the entire group to which we belong, we are on the threshold of a new period with new business objectives. In order to meet these, we need a clear division of competences and strong individuals in managerial positions. Moreover, this change is also in line with the group's new growth-oriented strategy," explained Stuart Evers, Chief Executive Officer of GTS Novera, adding: "Petr is an experienced business manager with almost ten years experience in the telecommunications sphere in the CR and Europe. I am convinced that the new position is going to be a great challenge to him. I look forward to the energy which he will bring to the management of our business team and the fulfilment of the business plan."
"My task is to move the company's business strategy even more in the direction of corporate clients, expand cooperation between individual operators within the framework of the parent group GTS CE, and support their business activities in the region of Central and Eastern Europe," said Petr Mozis, the new director of the sales division of GTS Novera, setting out his main strategic objectives.
Petr Mozis came to GTS Novera in 2002 from Czech Net, where he began working in 2000 as commercial representative. At GTS Novera he first held the position of commercial consultant and then business manager. In 2005 he became director of the section for the corporate segment.
Petr Mozis was born in the town of Dvur Králové nad Labem in 1974. He studied at the Faculty of Engineering at the Czech University of Life Sciences in Prague. He has a two-year old son and a two-month old daughter. When not at work he enjoys travel and sport, especially skiing, golf, volleyball and squash.
