Stepanka Hanusova is appointed Director of Regional Purchasing at GTS CE

Mrs. Stepanka Hanusova was appointed Director of Regional Purchasing at GTS CE, a leading Central European telecommunications operator. She comes to this position from the Czech telecommunications provider GTS Novera that is a part of the GTS CE group. This new position is a part of the announced strategy to unify the group and its country subsidiaries following its change of ownership.

The set-up of a central purchasing position for the group is a part of a strategy to consolidate and unify corporate procedures in the group, which was acquired by new owners in the beginning of 2008. GML Holding, the shareholder of GTS CE, sold 100% of the shares in GTS CE to a consortium of private equity funds, led by Columbia Capital, M/C Venture Partners and Innova Capital.

"We work to deeper unify the group and thus we decided to consolidate the group processes and manage them on the corporate level. We are well-aware of Stepanka´s management and business skills so it was natural to offer this position to her," said Gerald Grace, Chief Finance Officer of GTS Central European Holding B.V. (GTS CE).

Although promoted to regional level, Stepanka Hanusova will not leave GTS Novera. "I will execute the duties of Regional Purchasing Director from my current office in Prague. I will be responsible for unifying the purchasing strategy of the group's subsidiaries and for making the group identity more visible when dealing with business partners and vendors anywhere in the region," explained Stepanka Hanusova.

Stepanka Hanusova graduated from The West Bohemian University in the Czech Republic and The Open University in the UK. She has worked at GTS Novera 11 years. She is married and is bringing up her 4-years son.
