The GTS Telecom Quality for all Communications Services delivered in 2006 was 99.85%

Bucuresti, January 10, 2007
GTS Telecom, the Quality Leader on the alternative telecom market in Romania, reports the average continuity of all the services delivered to customers in 2006 at 99,85%.

Stability is the main parameter used for the definition of the Quality of Service and Service Level Agreement (SLA) in telecommunications market. According to international standards and to the regulations in force provided by Romanian National Regulatory Authority for Communications and Information Technology (ANRCTI), the service availability level, delivered in a time interval, is calculated as the percentage report between the measured uptime of the service (in minutes) and the total number of minutes of the given time interval. Service uptime will be measured at the clients' connection interface.

According to the ANRCTI's Decision nr. 138-2002, the telecom service stability and availability is a commercial parameter that must be included in the service delivery contract, guaranteed and reported to customers periodically.

The average service availability and stability of the communications services GTS Telecom delivered to all customers reached 99,85% level in 2006. In absolute values, the total cumulative downtime minutes, measured at the customer contractual connection interface, was 788 minutes.

"The Quality of Service, defined as Stability and Availability is for GTS Telecom a contractual parameter, which is guaranteed for any deployed service. High quality is the main GTS Telecom differentiation factor on the local market." Saied Dan Mihãescu, Country Manager with GTS Telecom. "At any month's beginning GTS Telecom reports to all its customers the Service Level Agreement (SLA) reached in the previous month. In case we fail to deliver the contractual SLA, we pay penalties to the respective customers." added Mihãescu.
