The leading CEE operator unifies companies under one umbrella name

Warsaw, September 30, 2010
Warsaw, September 30, 2010 - As of 1st October all companies in the GTS Central Europe (GTS) group are to go under a unified name and use a uniform GTS brand. These changes are the latest step in the creation of an integrated telecommunications operator and data center service provider for the entire Central and Eastern European region. The main reason for rebranding is to make it easier for customers to recognize the company, strengthen unified offerings across the countries and to save on costs by sharing marketing resources.

National operators now bear the names GTS Czech, GTS Hungary, GTS Poland, GTS Slovakia, while Romania will retain its current name of GTS Telecom, because local legislation does not permit a change of name to GTS Romania. The rebranding was undertaken in order to underline GTS’ unique, high quality business solutions offered across the whole region. The change will also help to streamline group’s marketing costs, which will have a positive impact on overall efficiency.

"Thanks to closer mutual cooperation among national units within the group and our increased visibility as a prominent integrated regional operator, our customers are receiving a clear message that their operator offers services throughout the entire region. Hence the change in the name of our companies and the use of the GTS brand completes the process of integrating the GTS group into a single regional operator, clearly distinguishable for our carrier, corporate and public administration customers," said Adam Sawicki, GTS Group CEO.

All country operators will now use the current GTS logo. The orange stripe in the logo is a symbol of rising sun and the orange colour also means innovation. The dark blue is very conservative - corporate color. The top right part of the blue square then forms an arrow pointing upwards. The unifying brand will be enhanced with consistent ‘look and feel’ for all marketing material including collateral, presentations and web sites (new country-specific sites will be launched at the beginning of October 2010).
