GTS Ethernet VPN
GTS Ethernet VPN
GTS Ethernet VPN service is a layer 2 Ethernet service, allows customer’s sites in different locations to easily interact over a wide area as part of a single meshed network. GTS Ethernet VPN service is provided on industry-leading multiprotocol label switching (MPLS) network. The GTS Ethernet VPN service can be implemented with variety of optional services such as Quality of Services (QoS), redundancy and on-line monitoring of performance parameters. The service allows our Customers to fully control routing and to carry any type of Ethernet traffic; not just IP-based protocols.
The service is provided in two variants:
- Ethernet Private LAN (EP-LAN) - port based service providing a high level of service frames transparency. Customers can nominate their own VLAN IDs (VLAN transparency) across End User Sites without any coordination with GTS
- Ethernet Virtual Private LAN (EVP-LAN) - port plus VLAN based service, which can be configured to support multiple EVCs on a single port at an End User Site. The EVP-LAN service variant provides limited service frame transparency
Upon the request, the GTS Ethernet VPN service can be terminated via Ethernet Network to Network Interface (E-NNI), which enables our Customers to extend their Ethernet coverage over GTS Central European region over single Ethernet port or two with its redundancy.
GTS Central Europe is a member of the Metro Ethernet Forum (MEF).More

Service Benefits
- Cloud Ethernet communication ideal for Any-to-Any - the service uses multipoint-to-multipoint topology; sites are automatically interconnected with all others
- Perfect for high volume transmission - Ethernet is suitable for use at the highest bandwidths - up to 1Gbps or even more as a special solution
- Variaty of optional services - Quality of Service (tree Classes of Service), redundancy and monitoring of service’s performance parameters.
- E-NNI service option - enables lower deployment costs - one port for multiple End User Sites over CEE region
- Fast re-route with proactive reroute in case of interruption in MPLS backbone
- Simplicity - mature, standardized, well known technology which is easy to implement
- Customer can control their WAN routing as there is no need to exchange the routing information with GTS
- GTS will always find a solution tailored to all Customers’ needs
- Guaranteed Service Level Agreement (availability, Frame delay, Frame delay variation, Frame loss or Time to repair)
- Convenient and wide range of access technologies for all your End User Sites
- Guaranteed Service Level - Service Availability, Frame Delay, Frame Delay Variation, Frame Loss and Time to repair guaranteed contractually
- Excellent customer service - Our contact centre is at your disposal 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
