GTS Lambda
GTS Lambda
GTS Lambda is a point-to-point data transmission service based on DWDM infrastructure providing bandwidth range from 1Gbps up to 10Gbps.
Service contents
GTS lambda is based on a DWDM infrastructure. DWDM employs multiple light wavelengths to transmit signals over a single optical fiber. Wavelengths can support various applications including SONET/SDH, IP and ATM. DWDM is a crucial component of the optical network because it maximizes the use of installed optical fibers and allows new services to be quickly and easily provisioned over the existing infrastructure. Flexible add/drop modules allow individual channels to be dropped and inserted along a route. DWDM systems employed by GTS supports up to up to 80 channels per optical fiber.
Service benefits
- Saves you the time and expense of building and operating your own DWDM system over Central Europe
- Gives you the flexibility and freedom to managed your network
- Range of speeds and service options (SDH, ETHERNET, SAN)
- Lower rates than rates over SDH
- Possibility of redundancy in dedicated areas
- Guaranteed Service Level Agreement
- Non-stop monitoring centre and immediate professional action if necessary
Coverage
With our DWDM Metro, National and International network you can get a very reliable wavelength solution over the Central European region. GTS lambda is available in all five GTS core countries: the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Romania and Slovakia. The GTS DWDM network has been built in ring topology to gain perfect network security and reliability.
Target customers
GTS lambda is ideal for ISPs, Carriers and large enterprises that require point to point, low-cost, high-speed unprotected or protected capacity.
