The Leased Line service is a lease of bit transparent digital lines in the configurations appropriate for the customers using the point-point or star topology.

Service contents

The Leased Line service is a lease of bit transparent digital lines in the configurations appropriate for the customers using the point-point or star topology. Through this service, the Customer is provided with a constant transmission capacity within the Provider's telecommunication network. Within an allocated capacity, the Customer may use a duplex synchronous bit-transparent transmission of user data between individual service terminal points. The transmitted data is in no way interpreted through the network's means. The service terminal point is a digital interface located at the equipment terminating an access line.

Besides operation, operational management and servicing, the Leased Line service also comprises survey, project and installation works for the service establishment and the provision of equipment up to the service handover interface.

GTS offers Leased Line service on its own fibre based backbone network across a five country footprint. GTS enables data communication between the Customer’s localities especially in the following GTS countries:

• Poland
• Romania
• Slovakia

With GTS's partners GTS can provide Leased Line service also in other countries.
